Delete your MileMori account

1The fastest way: in the app

On the web:

1. Open MileMori and go to Me → Account and data.
2. Choose “Delete my account permanently”.
3. Type the confirmation word shown on the screen, enter your password and confirm.

In the iPhone or Android app:

1. Go to Me → Manage my account.
2. Under “Delete your account”, choose “Delete my account permanently”.
3. Enter your password and confirm.

Want to keep your records? Download a backup first: “Download my backup” in Me → Account and data, or My data and backup in the app.

2What is deleted, at once

The server permanently deletes, in the same moment:

• your account: username, email address, password hash and sign-in sessions;
• your cloud backup and its change history;
• your companionships and their streaks;
• your caravan memberships, your lamp signals, cheers and waves;
• the caravans you founded, with their plans, votes and shared memories — unless someone else is in one and you have not archived it: then it passes to its longest-standing admin, or else to its longest-standing member, and carries on without you;
• the plans you proposed in any caravan, with the votes, replies and memories others added to them;
• your invitation links and invitation records;
• your notification registrations;
• the purchase records MileMori keeps for your account.

3What stays

• Your devices. The server cannot reach what is only on your devices. On each one, delete the local copy too: “Delete my profile on this device” in Me → Account and data on the web, or “Delete the data on my device” in My data and backup in the app. Removing the app also removes it.
• Reports you made stay for moderation, without your name or your reason.
• Usage-count totals were never linked to you, so there is nothing of yours in them to delete.
• Apple and Google keep their own purchase records under their own rules.
• Copies in our database provider’s restore history disappear when they expire.

Deleting MileMori does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

4Only the cloud backup

To keep your account but remove what it stores of your records, turn off “Account backup permission” in Me → Account and data. The cloud copy and its history are erased at once; your companions and caravans stay.

5If you never created an account

Then MileMori’s servers hold nothing of yours. Deleting the profile on your device, or removing the app, deletes everything.

6If you used the earlier MileMori

The earlier MileMori’s server accounts were closed on 29 September 2026; their data is scheduled for deletion.

Data the earlier site kept in your browser is removed by “Delete my profile on this device” in Me → Account and data.

7If you cannot use the app

Write to us from the contact address below. Include your username and an email address where we can reach you. To protect your account, we confirm that it is yours before deleting it: a message on its own does not delete an account.
