1Agreement

By using MileMori (“the service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. To make an account you must be 18 or older. Without an account MileMori runs on your device, with extra protections for anyone under 18 or who has not given a birth date.

2What MileMori is — the most important clause

MileMori helps you take small daily steps toward what matters to you, and shows your life as a road. The life horizon, the scale of your road and any reply in the thinking space are illustrations drawn from population data and published studies. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or actuarial services, and not a prediction of any person’s lifespan; never rely on them as such.

For health, financial or legal decisions, always ask a qualified professional. The thinking space is software — not a therapist, physician or advisor.

3Your account

An account is optional. If you create one, keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. Give information about yourself only, and keep it truthful.

4Using the service fairly

  • Use MileMori lawfully.
  • Do not try to probe, disrupt or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows, or to get around its limits.
  • Do not use what the app shows you to make claims about other people.

5Companions, caravans and what you share

Companions and caravans are invite-only, not public feeds. Share only what you have the right to share. Do not use names, plans, notes, invitation links or reports to harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, to expose a private address, or to publish unlawful material.

Members can mute, leave, block, unblock and report. A caravan’s founder and its admins can remove a member and revoke the caravan’s invitation links. MileMori’s moderators review reports and may remove a plan or a shared memory, or close a caravan, that breaks these terms.

What you write remains yours. You give MileMori only the limited permission needed to store it and show it to the people you chose.

6Rewards

Seals, streaks, Rest Days, Mends, Marks, Finds, emblems and card finishes have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and they may change as the product changes. Rewards for invitations are card finishes, a mark in Me and, once three friends are on the road, the right to found one more caravan.

7MileMori Plus

Some tools — such as printing your road in print quality — may need MileMori Plus, bought through the App Store or Google Play under that store’s terms. The price is shown in the store before you buy. Refunds follow the store’s rules. Plus never sells a reward.

Cancel a subscription in your store account. Deleting your MileMori account does not cancel it.

8Intellectual property

The MileMori name, its registered logo, its design and its original content belong to the operator. The world atlas is drawn from Natural Earth (public domain); when the detailed map is switched on, map data © OpenStreetMap contributors and the basemap © Protomaps. The life tables are adapted from the UN World Population Prospects 2024 (UN DESA, Population Division; licence CC BY 3.0 IGO) and from TÜİK’s life tables, reused with attribution: MileMori stores them in compressed form, projects them by year of birth and extends them beyond age 100. Your data remains yours.

9Services we rely on

MileMori relies on other companies: Vercel and Neon to run the service, Cloudflare for our domain’s DNS, email forwarding and map files, Apple and Google for notifications and store purchases, your browser’s push service, Resend for email, and — when switched on — a place search and routing service and an AI provider. Their availability is outside our control. The privacy policy says what each of them receives.

Privacy policy

10No warranty, and the limits of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for decisions made in reliance on the service’s outputs. Where the law does not allow such limits, liability is limited to the minimum extent the law permits. Nothing here limits the rights that mandatory consumer law gives you.

11Your wellbeing

MileMori is designed to be blame-free and supportive, with gentle mode and grief mode for the times you need them. If the theme of finite time is distressing for you, put your wellbeing before the service, and consider talking with someone you trust or a professional. If you are in danger, contact your local emergency services.

12Changes and ending

We may update these terms or the service; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. You may stop using MileMori at any time: delete your account in Me, and the copy on your device with “Delete my profile on this device”.

13Governing law and contact

These terms are interpreted under the laws and mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence, unless a future operating entity publishes a different governing-law notice for your region.
